I was active in my illustration career from 1993 - 1996, with a few scattered afterward. Here's a collection of some of my best student work and professional illustrations that were published on various forms of media for clients including St. Martins Press, San Jose Mercury News, Interact Magazine, Stern Magazine (German), Urth Mother Music, Microsoft, Ohio Health, DisneyToon Studios, Original Force and more.
I was fortunate to win prizes and be published in two student New York Society of Illustrators competitions in 1993 and 1994 for two scratchboard illustrations. My first book cover, "The Paris Edge", was published in the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators in 1995 and was part of the group exhibition in downtown Los Angeles along side many of my contemporary illustration heroes.
The 10 Lives poster and tag line was my concept, painted by me, and designed in collaboration with Patrick Mate, Mark Koetsier, and Tommy Kim.
For the Tinker Bell Illustration, I painted in the style of Drew Struzan over gray 3D character models on top of a provided background.
