The Iron Giant

1998-1999, Warner Brothers Feature Animation

This was my second movie as a background painter and a very memorable one at that! I was so honored to be tasked with painting the opening scene and had many other wonderful BGs to paint with real acrylic on illustration board and cell! I really enjoyed the experience on that film and it turned out to be my last movie painted the traditional way. I wish I had copies of all my BGs.

All BGs were painted by brush and airbrush with acrylic paint on illustration board and acetate cels.
